A Note From Billy
I grew up right here in Kyle and have watched our small town grow into what it is today. When my family moved here in the 1990s, Kyle had fewer than 3,000 residents. In 2004, fresh out of high school, I started working at what was then Pizza Classics Kyle as a delivery driver. Over the years, I saw the restaurant change hands several times—but I never stopped believing Kyle deserved a great, locally owned pizza place.
Today, as the owner of Kyle Pizza Co., I’m proud to operate an independent, community-supported local pizzeria. Owning and running a small restaurant isn’t easy—it takes long hours and hard work—but doing things the right way matters to me, and it shows in our food.
We make pizza the old-school way because it simply tastes better. Our dough is made fresh every day using non-bleached, non-bromated flour, extra virgin olive oil from one of the best suppliers in the U.S., Stanislaus Foods from Modesto, California, and just the basics—water, salt, sugar, and yeast. No shortcuts. Our vegetables are hand-cut daily, our 100% whole milk mozzarella is shredded in-house, and our sauce is made from scratch using Stanislaus tomatoes and extra virgin olive oil. Every pizza is hand-tossed and baked on stone in a traditional hearth oven.
Doing it this way costs more time and money—but we believe the product speaks for itself.
